OBServatory

The OBServatory is a fair, or exhibition, that occurs during the coffee breaks with the purpose of allowing the participants to get to know and interact with different initiatives and topics, depending on their interests.

The fair is divided into 4 different themes, each one taking place during a different coffee break:

Sustainability

When donating biological products is mentioned, what usually comes to mind are blood donors, or organ donors. But did you know that it is also possible to donate bone marrow? Or the umbilical cord? Well, the answer is yes!
With this fair, we hope that you are curious enough to learn more about these themes, clear doubts, and to fight away myths and common misconceptions.

Are you looking forward to gaining more experience in your field? Or to help those in need?
To this end, we contacted different institutions and organizations to join us and give our participants the chance to speak with them regarding internship opportunities or volunteering jobs.

In a partnership between Corino, our Faculty’s Student Magazine, and the “Introduction to Poetry'' ICBAS students, we have published three poems of their own authorship. Stay tuned to our Corino’s OBS Special Edition!
Additionally, we will open a Call for Poems, as a way of showcasing our youth’s talents, and contributing to our students’ cultural knowledge. These will be exhibited during the conference.
If you are an art enthusiast, then this is the right place to explore your interests!
Nowadays, there is a vast spectrum of actions that encompass youth-driven activism. Did you know that advocating for sustainable practices goes beyond recycling and energy conservation? Young activists are passionately leading movements for climate justice, biodiversity preservation, and equitable access to resources. During this fair, we hope to ignite your curiosity, dispel misconceptions, and connect you to local associations.
