The Professor Corália Vicente Award
The Professor Corália Vicente Award is a Competition for scientific articles, aiming to value young researchers and recognising the value of their contribution to the construction of scientific knowledge.
This Competition will be composed of two modalities: Clinical Case Analysis and Research Paper. The latter might receive submissions from students besides the Medical Field, as long as their research work concerns the human health.
The submitted articles will be assessed by a jury composed of the members of our Scientific Committee.

The best submitted articles will be presented in-person at the IV Oporto Biomedical Summit.
Professor Corália Vicente was part of ICBAS-UP since 1977 and acted as Director between 1992 and 2004. She was a strong figure and one of the greatest defenders of the students' interests.
Those who leave their mark on us remain present.
As a way to keep the Professor's legacy of closeness to the students and the biomedical spirit, we decided to dedicate a part of our conference to Professor Corália.
