In this workshop, you’ll learn not only about biomaterials and infection, but about how biomedical research can develop solutions to fight infection, as it is the case of the medical device GOcap. GOcap is a light-activated catheter cap that prevents catheter-associated infections. For one day, you’ll be a scientist in the lab, testing the antibacterial efficacy of one GOcap prototype.
